I received a phone call from Lindsay Sirett (our new neighbour) last night who informed me that he was not going to sanction any further legal access other than those already set in place upon his purchase of the Fairly property in 2013. I thanked him anyway for considering the possibility while making it clear to him that I was not impressed that we were not informed at all that the Fairly property had been sold until after the fact of the transfer process. This eradicated the prospect of moving forward with the previously anticipated thoroughfare around the Heirloom property.
We are now faced with the remaining options of a) following the paper roads or b) entering into further negotiations with Rob Helsby and Annie Bottom to cut a new road behind their cabin on the Avonside side (and follow the contours above their lower dam to arrive at the Helsby/Timmins cattle grid). So it is timely that Morry is aquiring a D6 dozer for us to utilise in the event!
While writing this post with a word processor having the intent of passing on the latest information to our blogsters I turned to Luke that was standing near by and requested that he give me a meaningful title that would explain its content at a glance.
After a quick read over my shoulder he uttered the title for this post.
If you copy the title and paste it into a search engine you will then see the value of such an utterance.
Touche Luke Mahony.
Great title Luke!
Favourable development for the road to Mordor.
Karen and I were invited for a Suday morning cuppa with Lindsay and Cath Sirett today to clear up any misunderstanding about the access that we are currently using.
The outcome is that it’s ok to use the top gate as usual which may eventually be made legal peding events around the Heirloom property.
1) is to establish the current status of the existing Timmins’s road leading into the Heirloom property.
2) Once the Timmis track is cleared of problems, to then negotiate with Rob and Anne or the buyers of Heirloom to allow us access along the current thoroughfare or with minimal deviations in that area.
If the above fails to bring a favourable outcome we will yet again be left to utilising the existing paper roads leading out of Mordor.
