Thank you everybody for being part of the Sinterklaas experience at Tannenbaum De Vent Pierre 2013. The many events of the evening exceeded all our expectations that it seemed that it had no sooner started when the performers were delivering their last song. Below are the first photos that have come in from James. I’m sure there is more to come and a story or two from participants of the event. Krampus would be hard to beat in future celebrations.

About nic

During the years 2005-6, I was living in Wamberal NSW Australia when the posty delivered a life changing real-estate brochure. The slump in real-estate in my area meant that I was going to work just to keep the bank and local government afloat. The decision to re-locate was not hard. And now we are all enjoying this Jindy blog.

I would like to give credit to the following persons that were instrumental in the way the events of Tannenbaum De Vent Pierre 2013 proceedings became an evening to remember.

Visitors book decoratively covered by Carole Luntungan
The hooked staff for Sinterklaas skilfully decorated by Mark Luntungan
The mitre and cloak worn by Sinterklaas sent in by Catherine Sargent
Staff and Book Paige: Olivia Saint (holds the book and staff for Sinterklaas in procession)
Zwarte Piets one and two Glen Forshaw, Brendan Spicer (slaves sworn to manage and restrain Krampus)
Krampus Nolen Oayda (who will receive an Oscar nomination for his performance)
Sinterklaas Sophie Davies (young pretty face …. children friendly … eloquently delivered)
The cuisine by Karen Green (not to be missed … included pre lunch and breakfast following)
The tables and chairs setting up and pull down and clean up by Bill and Joan Green
The transporting Jeep by Mark Morison
The pine tree by Mark Morison
The fire wood and fire place by Mark Morison and Bill Green
The essential dish washing by Joan and Karen Green
The “Shuffled” recordings and music by Nic Luntungan and Luke Mahony
Stage area and lighting by Mark Morison, Luke Mahony, Bill Green, Mark Luntungan and Brett Gay
Sound Techs: James Beggs, Josh Gorringe, Rachael Gay
The performers Bret Gay, Maddie Gay, Nathan Gorringe, James Beggs, Kesha Oayda, Mackenzie harding (All performances exceeded expectations and were much appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed).

As the bar has now been set and I have already received promises of attendance for 2014. My task now is to co-ordinate Tannenbaum De Vent Pierre 2014 that will stand up to expectations. I will definitely need volunteers and a little help from my friends, so please have a favourable response when asked to participate for 2014.
