Can any one suggest a good name for my horse shed and round yard? i have updated the “Woodhenge” post with a few pics. A round yard is to go in yet and the entry to the round yard will have an overhang that will bear this new name. Yes, i know it’s a bit of a wank, but just humor me please and help me out.

how about Gee Gee-hi hut or Neddy’s Retreat
Neddy’s Retreat gets my vote.
Kosciuszko National Park contains many huts that were built many years ago by stockmen, miners and fishermen one of which is named “Geehi Hut” which is a prominent stone hut. Ironically, unbeknown by Lou, it is the hut that remains most vivid in my memory on my first visit to the back blocks of the Snowy moutains in the 1980’s.

I then believe that a twist on the name ariving at “Gee Gee Hi” may be an apropriate choice for a name of our horse stock yard.
I will rummage through my boxes of photos of the time i visited that very hut before it was destroyed in the 2003 fires. Stay tuned for this posting as it has my old fave olive green BMW320a in front of it.

Well, the whole area was first populated (White people-I mean…) by Polish immigrants (Thus Mt Kosciuszko – pronounced Koosh-oosh-ko, i believe)

Hmm…! What about a German translation For “Lou’s Horse yard”
Thus: “Lou’s Pferdehof” but I’m not sure how to sound it.
or; “Yard Kuda Lou ini” is the Bahasa Indonesian translation but playing with it could result in “Kudayard Louini”
Then again: “Pelatihan Kuda” ie; horse training in Bahasa.
